HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Contact me! I would love to talk with you and answer any questions you might have about the therapy process. Please reach out to me by phone or email and we can set up a time for a free 15 minute consulation.

HOW MUCH DO SESSIONS COST?

The fee for a 50-minute session is $130 and a 80-minute session is $195. I often recommend 80-minute sessions for intakes, couples, and family sessions.  Some people benefit from the extra time, it might not be for everyone so please consider what is best for you and your therapeutic process.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

I do not accept insurance, I am private pay only. However, while I am not in-network with any insurance companies, many insurance plans provide out of network mental health coverage. For clients that wish to use their insurance and have out of network coverage, I can provide statements that can be submitted to their insurance companies for reimbursement.

If you are unsure if you have out-of-network benefits, I recommend calling your insurance company directly. Important questions to ask are, "What are my mental health benefits", "What is my deductible or what is my out-of-pocket max", and "Do you cover session code 90834?".

IS EVERYTHING IN THERAPY CONFIDENTIAL?

Everything that is said during therapy sessions will remain under strict confidentiality with a few exceptions.  One exception would be if the client has given the therapist written consent for a release of information to share treatment information with a third party. There are also other limits in which confidentiality may be broken including if you are suicidal, a threat to another person, or if there is suspected neglect/abuse to a child, elder, or dependent. I believe in clear communication if a situation such as this arises and uphold ethics to the highest regard with my client's confidentiality.

DO YOU OFFER TELEHEALTH?

Yes! Personally,  I believe there are incredible benefits to having in-person sessions, but I do provide telehealth therapy sessions for clients who are more comfortable with this option. Please feel free to discuss these options with me and we can explore what might be best for you.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to keep your appointment, I require a 24 hour notice. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no call no shows, will be charged the full session price.  Please try and contact me as soon as you can, and if we are able to reschedule within the week, I will not charge the cancellation fee.
